#TalkAboutTC is about saving lives and not just about raising money. However, to be honest, without financial support we wouldn’t be able to reach our goals.
We are looking for generous sponsors (for lack of a better term) to provide financial support via grant funding, monetary and/or in-kind donations, as well as, cause marketing and co-branding opportunities.
As a developing program we do not have set sponsor levels, to us all of our sponsors are triple platinum awesome for helping. Plus, we are interested in developing unique relationships that could benefit both of us instead of just giving a certain level kudos for the number that you write on a check.
Because of our unique target audiences and platforms we are using there are opportunities that are not seen in typical non-profit programs.

Our Target Audience, Opportunities & Ideas
Testicular Cancer Target Audience
Testicular cancer is the leading cause of cancer in males age 15-35, but it does occur at any age. Thus, our primary audience is Ohio males age 15-40.
However, it isn’t just the young men that need to hear our message as we need parents, teachers, coaches and doctors to help with the education process as well. Not surprisingly, women are also the ones that tend to advocate for their family health and encourage the men to seek care so we can’t forget about them.
Testicular cancer has traditionally been considered a “young Caucasian disease” because the incidence rate is highest in white, non-Hispanic populations. However, higher rates of uninsured are seen in nonwhite communities, testicular cancer incidence rates appear to be dramatically increasing in Hispanic populations and mortality rates are twice as high in nonwhite, non-Hispanic populations as compared to white, non-Hispanic populations. Specifically targeting Hispanic and nonwhite, non-Hispanic communities will help us in overcoming these disparities.
