88% of Young Ohio Males Currently Have Health Insurance

A January 2015 survey indicated that 88% of young males in Ohio report they currently have health insurance.

The survey, conducted by Talk About TC, asked 1000 Ohio men, age 18-34, “Do you currently have health insurance? (Includes private, Medicare/Medicaid or covered under someone else’s plan)”

88% of respondents indicated, “Yes, I have health insurance coverage”

9% of respondents indicated, “No, I do not have health insurance”

4% of respondents indicated, “I Am Not Sure“

The survey was conducted as part of the Talk About TC initiative to end deaths from testicular cancer in the state of Ohio by the year 2020.
